5 Binge-Worthy Thriller Series You’ll Tear Through

I love nothing more than a fast-moving, bingeable thriller series. It’s like your favorite thing on repeat—comforting, addictive, and impossible to quit. I always snatch up the latest release in my favorite series, and if it’s one I just discovered? Forget it. I’m gone. I’ll read every book back-to-back until I come up for air.

What got me hooked on bingeable thrillers? James Patterson’s Alex Cross series. Once I started, I couldn’t stop. Those books are the reason I became an author.

So here are five thriller series I devoured. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be hooked too.

Alex Cross – James Patterson

For an FBI agent, Alex Cross is one hell of a likeable guy. From the first chapter, it’s a race to see what happens next. This series defines the “popcorn thriller” nickname—tight chapters, relentless pacing, and a character you want to follow anywhere. It’s a long-running series, which is a good thing… because once you start, you won’t stop.

Rachel Hatch Series – L.T. Ryan & Brian Shea

Rachel Hatch doesn’t solve crimes. She stops bad guys with her bare hands. If you like tough-as-nails women who get things done (and don’t wait around for backup), this action thriller series is for you. It’s fast, gritty, and always one step away from exploding. Grab snacks. You’re not getting up for a while.

The Housemaid Series – Freida McFadden

Toxic relationships. Manipulative people. Huge, jaw-dropping twists. If that’s your vibe, The Housemaid delivers in spades. This psychological thriller is compulsively readable—one of those “just one more chapter” books that ends with you finishing the whole damn thing. Perfect weekend read. You won’t know who to root for and that’s half the fun.

The Naturals – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Want something a little different, but still bingeable? The Naturals is a wild ride. Yes, it’s classified as YA but don’t let that fool you. It reads like a speculative FBI thriller with a twist: the investigators are teens with extraordinary profiling skills, recruited into a secret program to solve cold cases. It’s fast, clever, and emotionally sharp, with a high-concept hook that totally works. If you're looking for a thriller with a unique edge, this five-book series is a perfect reset button.

The Fourth Monkey (4MK) Series – J.D. Barker

This one’s technically a trilogy, but man, is it a totally fresh spin on the serial killer formula—dark, twisted, and insanely clever. You’ll think you know what’s happening… until you don’t. And then you’ll question everything. This is one of those series where the pages turn themselves.

If you’re anything like me, once you find a good thriller series, you want more twists, more chaos, more late nights telling yourself just one more chapter. My thriller series are built the same way:

Abby Kane – FBI profiling, serial killers, and international chases. Like 4MK or Alex Cross, Abby brings the same pulse-pounding pace but with more bite.

Sei Assassin – A female assassin on a mission, with action that hits hard and emotional stakes that linger. Think Rachel Hatch but colder, faster, and a mom to boot.

The Little Sushi Chef – A psychological survival thriller series where ambition becomes a weapon. If The Naturals joined Hell’s Kitchen, you'd get this.

My Psychological Thrillers – Twisty, addictive, and full of toxic people. Perfect if you tore through The Housemaid and wanted something just as messed up.

All bingeable. All twisty. All gone before you know it.
