Hi. I'm Ty Hutchinson

For as long as I can remember, I’ve told stories. I kept them to myself at first, but as I grew older, I found I enjoyed sharing them with others.

Interesting people, jack-of-all-trade types, were the best to trade stories with. Why? Well, nothing kills a dinner party faster than a boring story. But even eclectic friends couldn’t satisfy my craving.

Working in advertising allowed me to tell stories to a larger audience. And while entertaining strangers was a new addictive high, I found advertising limiting.

Writing books became the new vehicle to get my stories out there. It satisfied my thirst until I wanted more. Do you see where I’m going with this?

Even though the way I deliver a story might change, how I do it will remain the same. Good storytelling requires confidence. I must be willing to share a part of me to humanize the story.

You see, great stories entertain, but they also do something much more important. They allow us to have meaningful connections with each other. And in the end, that’s really what we crave.
