What is a Blog Hop?
It’s a way for readers to get to know a whole bunch of different authors who write in a variety of genres by hopping around from blog to blog. What makes it even more exciting is each author is conducting a contest on their own blog, complete with awesome prizes. That’s a lot of chances to win a lot of schwag, including the Kindle Touch I plan on giving away. You can read more about all the authors who are participating by visiting the official Summer Splash Blog Hop website.
How long is it?
It starts on July 23rd and ends on July 31st.
What’s the contest on Ty Hutchinson’s blog?
Well, it’s not a contest, it’s more like a sweepstakes. Each visitor to my blog must complete the following tasks to be a qualified entrant for my giveaway.

Subscribe to my blog.
Comment on this blog post and leave an email addy. The email is important. I’ll need it to notify you if you win.
What are the prizes?
One winner will be randomly selected from all qualified entrants at the end of the blog hop. The prize is a Kindle Touch with all my ebooks and two, 10oz bags of my favorite coffee, Lion Macadamia. It’s what I drink while I write.
Also, there’s a Summer Splash Grand Prize Winner. The prizes are two Kindle Fires, plus other cool schwag and a bunch of paperbacks signed by all the authors. For more information on this drawing, visit the Summer Splash Blog Hop website.
Remember, to qualify as an entrant into the sweepstakes on my blog, you must complete all three tasks. One winner will be chosen shortly after the end of the contest and I will contact them via email. Failure to respond to my email will be considered forfeiture and a new winner will be chosen. So keep an eye on your inbox. This will continue until all prizes have been given away or the Earth implodes, whatever comes first.

Hey! It’s working great, thanks for asking! I have hardly put it down all summer. When I read your blog post about your goals for 2012 you gave me a lot of ideas. I also wanted to read 50 books this year, unfortunately I’m nowhere close to 50, but I’m up to about 15 so far this summer. The Nook is definitely helping me get closer to my goal, I have found so many great cheap or even free books with it! Thanks so much again!!
So happy to hear you’re getting a lot out of it and that you’re reading more. My Kindle has definitely increased my reading. Alas, I’m doing a terrible job of reaching my own goal of reading fifty books this year. I’m only at eight. Ugh.
